Whether you're joining the credit union or adding more accounts, the process is easy!

Open a New Membership

Before submitting an application, please review the USA PATRIOT Act Disclosure.

Apply for membership securely online 24/7. You'll need a scan or photo of a valid photo ID. You will automatically get a share savings account, and you can also choose to open a checking, money market, and additional savings accounts.

We may contact you for additional information. We may also require you to submit a notarized copy of your unexpired government-issued picture identification. The application process can take 1–3 business days, but you can check the status of your application at any time.

You may also join in person, by mail or fax using our fillable PDF Membership Application.

  1. Complete the fillable PDF form.
  2. Print the completed form.
  3. Sign and date the form.
  4. Include a copy of your unexpired government-issued picture identification.
  5. Bring into one of our branch locations, fax to 202-602-6623, or mail to:
    P.O. Box 23393 Washington, DC 20026.

Add Accounts to Current Membership

Current members can add accounts securely online, including Checking, Share Certificates, Money Market, and other savings accounts.

Additionally, once you enroll in epOnline — Our Online Banking & Bill Pay System, you can open these deposit accounts from the convenience of online banking:

  • uChoose Club Account
  • Secondary Share Account
  • Money Market Account


Just follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your epOnline account.
  2. Select the menu icon at upper left of screen.
  3. Select "Open Suffix".
