SmartSaver Certificates

Certificates are available to fit every budget.

  • Minimum deposit is $1,000.
  • Minimum term is 6 months.
  • Check rates.

Bump Up Certificates

Don’t get stuck with low earnings on your long-term certificates. Our Bump Up Term Share Certificate allows you to secure a higher dividend rate for your investments in a rising-rate environment. If our rates go up, yours can too!

With a Bump Up certificate your rate may be "bumped up” once during the term of your certificate to our higher prevailing rate for that same term.

  • Minimum deposit is $1,000.
  • Terms of 48 or 60 months.
  • Check rates.

Pot of Gold Certificates

Pot of Gold certificates are special "contract" savings certificates. You set your goal and begin saving toward it on a regular basis by payroll distribution or automated e-Transfer. Once your goal is met, you receive the balance, including compounded dividends!

  • Minimum deposit is $6 weekly.
  • Maturity may extend for 4 to 6 years.

†Smart Saver Term Share Certificate Balance Computation Method: Balance Computation Method: Daily Balance. Dividend Accrual: Dividends earned from day of deposit to day of withdrawal. Dividend accrual on non-cash deposits will begin on the day of deposit. Fees: No service fees. Early Withdrawal: Penalty for withdrawal of funds other than dividends prior to maturity is 90 days of dividends earned. Maturity: Rate is fixed for the term of the certificate. Notice of maturity is mailed fifteen (15) days prior to maturity date, stating the certificate will automatically renew. Withdrawal or transfer of certificate funds is permitted within a five (5) day period following the maturity date. Transaction Limits: After the account is opened, deposits into or withdrawals from the account are not permitted until maturity.

Dividends are earned from day of deposit to day of withdrawal and are paid and compounded monthly. A penalty may apply for early withdrawal. Rate is fixed for the term of the certificate with the added allowance of one rate increase to the prevailing rate of the same term during the maturity period.
